those lotus cars are unbelievable. glad new car makers joined. more fun. hopefully someone in top 5, other than Alonso will win it, and the spaniard will finish 6th or lower to keep it exciting till the end.

Button's car set-up is for better race pace, not ultimate qualifying performance, whereas Hamilton has gone the other way but will he have another poor start of the line, as in previous races?

McLaren looking good, Hamilton on harder compound, faster than everyone else on softs. If he does not have his usual brain-fade and bump into someone, or do something else real dumb as is his habit, he may have a chance

If Hamilton does not get pole today and the win tomorrow, the writing is on the wall for his career. If he does win, he may still have a chance of clawing out of the enormously deep hole he has dug for himself
