Live Commentary
0' Alonso has gone under 1:22 to take pole..only to be denied by Räikkönen in the final seconds. Kubica is on the second row just behnid Massa with Hamilton and McLaren team-mate Kovalainen on the third row.
1' Hamilton can not improve his position on the soft tyres although he is 28 hundreths quicker.
2' Ferrari are forced to adapt their strategy with Räikkönen in for fresh tyres after problems with under steering on his previous lap.
3' Massa is three tenths quicker than the young Brit with Alonso up to third ahead of Räikkönen and Kubica.
4' Hamilton is over a second quicker.
5' Trulli is the first to post a flying lap 1:23.393.
Q3 The top three teams are joined by the Renault pair of local hero Alonso and Nelsinho Piquet Jr plus Jarno Trulli and Mark Webber in the ten minute quest for pole.
0' Nick Heidfeld (BMW-Sauber) climbs from 12th to fourth at the death so Rubens Barrichello (Honda), Kazuki Nakajima (Williams), Jenson Button (Honda), Timo Glock (Toyota) Nico Rosberg (Williams) and Sebastien Bourdais (Toro Rosso) will fill slots 11-16 on the grid.

2' Not sure how much fuel they are carrying but Räikkönen has just gone six tenths quicker than Hamilton.
4' Fantastic lap from Sebastien Bourdais (Toro Rosso) who goes sixth.
6' As you would expect Super Aguri and Force India are facing the back of the grid as Kubica goes fourth just behind Nakajima.
