don't forget that this is a team sport. the driver wins ,the team wins, the driver loses ,the team loses, the driver is penalised the team is penalised.
A great race and really good to see a williams on the podium again with renault power.% race 5 winners this is what a good competitive race season should be like . Now all they need to do is ban the HRT mobile chicane on safety grounds , how can it be logical for them to lap slower than my mother in laws disabled buggy and get in proper racers way?
lewis will not be champ again till he dumps the chumps that run the garage, they have cost him 2 world titles since he started f1.thats two out 3 .he has to go where they know what the hell they are doing. what a great drive to come from the back to beat his team m8 who started way up the grid.. well done lewis, we hope that you get the team your skills deserve!
Ferrari denied and slipping further from the Championship. A fifth race and a fifth different winner and a new face at that. A great Spanish Grand Prix.
I am surprised at the F.1 Decision making bodies,as to the logic they used, to decide the punishement they dole out to drivers and not to the Management of the offending team. Lewis should not be made the scapegoat for what happened at the final qualifing rounds of the Spanish Grandprix. Lewis did not put the petrol in the car, the team did. Lewis worked his gut out to make Pole. The Team should carry all the blame, hence all the punishement. It is grossly unfair to put all the blame on Lewis. The team should be hit hard where it pains most. In their pocket. F.1. Went for the easy option. This should be reviewed next time. PUNISH THE TEAM NOT THE DRIVER. If driver is guilty punish the driver but not the other way round. Ben Davies.
To whoever thinks Michael Schumacher is the best, must not have been following F-1 that long. This guy is nowhere close to being on Aryton Senna's Level. What is Mclaren thinking? Will Lewis ever get a fair shake? Lewis is clearly the best driver in F-1 in the sport right now, but the with all the BS in F-1 how can he show the world that he is?
I have been a F1 fan since 1999 - a mature, sensible, highly intelligent, career minded, middle aged black Brit mum of four. For me to see underlying discrimination in this day and age especially to Lewis age group is heartbreaking. McClarens are taking chances on him and his car at any and every opportunity e.g being slack in the pits, incorrect fuel levels etc. Although Lewis sounds laxed when interviewed, we all know the original Lewis..the fiery enthusiastic person he was when he entered F1 - so yep! we the fans, we the people who pay for F1 to be the rich sport it is, are totally aware of his hidden frustrations but alas cannot help!! even in this day and age?
So proud of Lewis, showing a real maturity this season. Great driver being let down by his team, makes me gutted as a long time Mclaren fan too but truth is their not up to scratch this year. I don't know what is going on with their pit crew and the decision making but they have to rectify it and fast or they'l quickly see the drivers and constructors slipping away. Happy for Williams though but hope the fire isn't too bad. Looked scary stuff on the forum, pretty worrying stuff.
Think the mistake from Lotus was soft tires for the second stint - still a good result and shows the improvement they ate are continuing to make. Closed up things nicely in the constructors championship.
A mistake from the Lotus Team, if Kimi pitted two laps earlier he had a good chance for 2nd, even 1st, as he has taken out more than 1 and even more than 2 seconds out of the front runners after his 3rd tyre change. Think and plan better Lotus Team.... and KIMI and Grosjean will be on the podium in every race. Well done KIMI, you have proven again today there is NO F1 driver in your catogory. Go for it ICEMAN, no doubt about it, if your team don't let you down, you will be the 2012 F1 champion.
Again Schumacher has proven to the world he has no driving skills at all, to drive blatantly into the back of a car and you were so called, 7 times a world champion, hang up your helmet, you do not belong on a F1 track. You're a danger for yourself and others. Oh, and take Massa and mamma's boy Button with you. The 3 of you are blocking careers of talented young drivers.
it seems like schumacher thincks hes bigger than f1,,...that crash is his fault all day long,,,.like many others since his return to racing..also numerous stupid exits from the pit lane which are dangerous...not tomention slowing down the mclarens whenever he has a chance....dont c im slowing down vettal though do we..........and then he had the cheek to blame senna..........sort it out michael or get out of f1 before u kill someone
Oh well! Spain did'nt win but a Spanish speaking driver won! Fantastic drive by Maldonado.........Venezuela must be rocking now!!! was glad for him and the team and good to see.

Hamiltons team are a disgrace. What the hell are they doing making mistake after mistake. Are they deliberately sabotaging his chances?
great race MS as stupid as ever, so arrogant! hope everyone in Williams garage OK after fire, well done Pastor

You are an excellent driver Lewis, well done!!!!,from back to 8 what else would one want Maldonado and Kimi well done too?
