Difficult to make a case out for Mikel-he is very limited,but there are several others like that in the team at the moment.Luiz is never a central defender & as for Torres he should be embarrassed about picking up his huge salary or any salary.
RDM does not escape critisism for keep picking these players.The togetherness & team spirit seems to have gone out of the window & we all know Roman is not a patient man,& I ask him why are there no strikers at the club?2 tough games this week & if we lose them both-who knows-there could be 3 vacancies in London at Spurs,QPR,& guess where?

He is the "holding midfielder" is job is to protect the defence. How many clean sheets have Chelsea managed since he has been operating in that role (single figures probably).

When Makalele had that role we only conceded 14 goals over the whole season (Premiership). Essien at his best was also world class. Unfortunately Mikel is not in the same class as either of the previous two holders of that role.

Do u realise that all the coaches chelsea have had, have always used him ever since makele left and Essien got injured, I think there is something he does that the coaches like.
