Just read that the club is looking to secure Tevez long-term, but looks like the deal might be murky. I believe you had the right to buy out the player for 10M, after already paying 10M for the loan period. So to buy the player its a 20M price tag, but the story hinted you were looking to extend the loan. Anyone know what might really be happening, and or do you think 20M is the right price, so why not sign him up permantly now.
Just asking as I'm curious, and also wanted to compare the Tevez deal with the Masch deal (straight loan from WHU where we paid salary, but nothing to MSI, then 18.5M to MSI to buy him outright). Also wondering if most of you think 20M might be steep when you look at his output this past season. No doubt he's a top quality player, but on a goals ratio, is the price tag too high?
