Its going to be interesting to see if the Arab owners act more like the Russian or the Yanks.
I know City fans will be very excited by all this and I don't blame them. In fact anything to offer a threat to the status-quo in the EPL must be a good thing in the short-term. However doesn't every real football lover of every persuasion get really worried when their sport becomes a money-orientated play thing of a few super-rich guys ( who are incedentally all foriegn)? I think ultimately a lot of people will be turned off this, and start watching lower league football. The top leagues etc will increasingly become alienated from ordinary people, it all might end in tears.
