Fergie in £9m Serb swoop

According to the Daily Mirror we are set to sign 17 year old Serbian midfielder Adam Ljajic dubbed "the new Kaka" and 21 year old winger Adam Tosic from Partisan Belgrade. Apparantly Partisan officials have been in Manchester for talks and if work permits are granted, the pair could make a move to United in January.

I can't say I really know anything about either of these players, so I don't really know what to think. If its true, and we are spending £9mil on these lads, it may make it even less likely that we are going to be spending the £30mil+ needed to sign Carlos Tevez permanently.

Does anyone know anything much about these lads/seen them play?

  Cantona - 64 goals in 143 games
  Rooney - 56 goals in 138 games
  
  Ferguson said he bought Cantona because he wanted "a can-opener", and I think that also applies to Rooney. I just hope Berbatov can stay fit and form a terrific partnership with Rooney with the Bulgarian banging them in...

  If the scouts were only right about it 10% of the time they dub a new sensation on a slow news day, there would be 11 Kaka's starting for about every top team with a few dozen Maradona's, a few Pele's and the occasional Ronaldo thrown in for good measure...
