I don't think that Bayern would be in the final if United didn't throw it away, or if Lyon had not been in the semis. How many of us here would have bet on Bayern to reach the final at the start of the season? Not many, or none.

May sound like sour grapes but it has been a crap season. Man Utd have lost 7 games, struggled to score in a few and just not looking strong enough in Europe and top Premiership games.

The last minute goals against Man City have been something to really smile about but it's not quite the same when you know the 2 late goals in the league games will count for nothing.
