    dreading 9 september

    Why the f*uck is it called 9/11 and 7/7 It's the 11th September and the 7th July bloody Americans barstardising the english language

      9/11 is quite clever, really. Not only is it the backward way Americans write dates, it's also the number of the emergency services.

      The English bombers cleverly chose a date that wouldn't have the date format confusion.

        Agree with everything you've said Robert. The death of any innocent is a tragedy. However, it seems the death of 3000 people in America is more worthy of mourning than approximately 1 million Iraqis, or 150,000 Japanese. Modern mass media makes no difference to the differential scale in hysteria where the 'West' is involved. I use the term 'West' loosely, because the French are still apparently cowardly frog eaters, and the Germans are Nazi war criminals, or so the nutcase neo-cons in Washington would have us believe.
