I think that this is the wrong place to discuss this as we are talking about a military award nothing to do with football and there must be thousands of soldiers yes including soldiers of colour who deserved military medals and didn't get one. And the question I would ask is are all the records are going to be researched and all those deserving going to be awarded medals I seriously doubt it and I doubt that you would sign a petition to do so, Therefore this should be left alone and consigned to history
