I don't think they ever actually removed Nightingale from the National Curriculum to teach about Mary Seacole. Pretty sure they taught about them both.

    So, you learned something new! That's a good thing! And, perhaps fortunately for you, Michael Gove seems to think that Seacole should be removed from the curriculum, so that might happen soon, if he doesn't u-turn again.
    
    But my main point is that I don't think Seacole ever replaced Nightingale in the curriculum, she was just taught alongside her, as one of her contemporaries.
