  Posted by a Bluenose perhaps (in the Birmingham sense)? We may have played dismally last year but I don't think we're going to get 27 points. 9 wins in a whole season - don't think so.
  
  The takeover talk has been said to be unsettling for players and fan alike but we've still managed to score 10 and concede none in friendlies. Ok - we're not playing Premiership opponents in the friendlies but assuming someone takes over the club in the near future, we will have a good chance of moving on.
  
  Even as a Claret and Blue diehard, I know we won't be in the Champions League, but we will at least be top 10 this year and hopefully with Martin O'Neill on board.

    Let him have his dreams, Matthew, after a new manager Villa usually have a stormer of a season but with new owners, too, and lots of transfer funds available then we're on the verge of something Birmingham City 0 will never achieve. The whole league can watch out, for that matter.
    
    It may just be a coincidence that lump-brain placed Villa on exactly the same number of points that he once managed to count to.
