This game's one of these for some reason bankers for me, may as well stick my neck on the chopping block. It's a 2 nowter to Leeds,
Don't you guys be fooled by Zam up here, he was smiling when he tapped the keys about McCartney, he negotiated the deal from this end, he wants him out.

A genuine Black Cat, a pissed off monkey hanger, both with strong interest in most northern clubs and wanting them to do well, Andy.
Thing is, this one board where you can come on and throw banter about, unlike some. I was in the City Hall at Newcastle in 1974 on a Saturday night seeing Glen Campbell walk on stage with a red and white scarf around his neck and playing the bagpipes. Sunderland had just won some cup?

Hmmm, I'm trying to think of a match when we really clattered Sunderland but I can't. I think we beat Newcastle 10 - 0 once but maybe that doesn't count ( - :

Zambezi, that is some involvement! You probably know more about Leeds than many of our present fans - not many here, for instance, will recall the 'Don Readies' scandal - but then wasn't it a Sunderland manager who blew the whistle?
It is great to read informed comment from other teams' fans on this board and I will look forward to your posts.
Thank you for your good wishes about Leeds returning to the top flight. It would be good for our teams to meet again as the craic with the Wearside lads has always been good - just don't mention the 1973 cup final!.
Presently, ties between the Black Cats and Leeds seem to be strengthening with Mr and Mrs Bruce visiting ER to see their son (IMO, one of our best signings) and now the McCartney deal - however, with the Titus Bramble rape story breaking, I bet Steve B is regretting penning that deal!
Who needs soap opera when we have football.
      Good luck for Saturday!
