  • Simon Grayson Has Left The Building

Find it all a bit sad really when you consider what the guy did at Blackpool and your place. He's one of these genuine through the ranks respect gainer, and he had a lot of that going for him. Never had the chance at Leeds to speculate, if Warnock suffers the same fate financially he'll struggle as well.
Maybe Warnock's a lot more outspoken which will test Bate's attitude towards cash. The remainder of this season for me is bound to be an improvement to a degree because the players will be watching their arses. The close season's the testing time, one way or another something's gunna happen, hope Warnock gets his way---certainly won't be boring.

If Bates is to be believed , he only refused Grayson once. However I think the financial shackles that Bates imposes will govern who Will sign /want to play for LUFC. I think that Warnock will stand u to Bates more the Grayson did.
Whatever it should prove interesting .

Warnock will have kept tabs on Leeds ever since he left QPR. I don't believe that he would have signed up if there was no cash to immediately improve the squad. I'l wager he will pull in a couple of QPR players through the emergency window within the week. Hope Derry is one! Maybe a good Warnocking for the rest of the squad will help to raise standards and performances within the current squad.

The fact that they have given him a 3 and half year contract shows that they are going to back him and have confidence in his ability. Cant wait to se how SG does with a decent chairman behind him, and hope he takes Huddersfield up this season.
