  • Well done NW first step to relegation accomplished satisfactorily

When the team were only 7 in the league we needed a new manager to help us to the play off and promotion. Wow what a success story NW has been our position improved from 7th to 14th. We were supposed to go up the tanble not further down having replaced an allegedly unsatisfactory manager.

What a brainstorming session that appointment must have been.

About time the illustrious Chairman spent some of his cash insteasd of treating LUAFC as his plaything to tease and torture as he pleases.

    How about it Ken?

Did not go quite to plan mate, but we were already on the downward spiral before Warnock arrived, some lucky comebacks Burnley etc so I think we were in a false position, Neil came in to rally the troops and it didn't work but next season it will be his team so we can judge hime then, I have every faith in him as like you say if Bates backs him, if not the crowds will dwindle down to 15k and Bates will be out of pocket so it's in his interests to open his cheque book. M.O.T to next season bud ;)

We all share your disappointment and frustration Stephen but Warnock has put up his reputation in pursuit of his Holy Grail to break the promotion record. If he succeeds then so do we. The great majority of supporters have stuck with him so far even though to date he has broken other less auspicious records in the final 14 or so games that he has been in charge. Just three wins and a home defeat to Forest that will linger on forever and a record number of home defeats in a season albeit it not totally down to his stewardship. Given the dismal end to the season I feel certain that Warnock would not have taken the job without some assurance that there would be funds available to recruit the calibre of players necessary to ensure success on both fronts for himself and the club. Tomorrow will give us all an indication of the level of his commitment to fulfil his promises.
It is hoped that the vehicle carrying the unwanted players out will be at least a seven seater. In Warnock we have to trust! MOT as always

I think you'll do well next season. Some times a manager just seems right for a club. I think Warnock fits Leeds. He has the passion and I feel he understands the way the fans feel. The number of defeats at Elland Road was pretty unbelievable this season. I've been as an away fan a few times and a draw would usually be a bloody good result. As an away fan or player it is an intimidating place to go. If he puts that right I can see you being right up there next season.
