Nice to hear from you again Andy. What annoys me considerably about Warnock is that he goes out and gets Drury a proven LB and fails to persist with him. He spends big money on Peltier a proven LB and moves him around and as a consequence his form dips. JP was supposed to be his main target to come in to give us some stability in the back four. So ok he gets a 3 match suspension and then has to sit it out on the bench and wait to get his place back. He IMO should have been made captain not Peltier. Tate and Pearce would be my automatic CB's.Tate is a good distributor of the ball from defence to midfield and not a "hoofer". I understand that MK Smith is back on the transfer radar but good as he is do we need him as Ross and Somma are similar in their MO. God help us if Beccs gets injured where are the goals coming from if it happens.
It seems churlish to criticise what is going on as we are where we are in the league handily placed for the play off's but something needs to happen fast in the transfer window for us to make any significant progress . I think Warnock is very fortunate to have the confidence of our new owners. I feel sorry for Sean O'Driscoll getting the boot after a 4-2 result over us and one point off a play off place.
