Forget financial politics, put aside ones ambitions frustration, and sit back and enjoy the game for what it is, lads. It's the only way to inject a bit of pleasure into your season---I should know!

I expected more of a scrap than that today. Leeds not helped by a ridiculous penalty but aside from that you didn't offer much at all. I can see why you want Warnock out now. Getting Adkins in now would make sense as Bryan says.

Lambert is not tearing up any trees at Villa Andy with a good young talented squad at his disposal. I would have given Owen Coyle or Puffing Billy Davis a chance but alas Forest nipped in for BD. Should GFH give Warnock the sack then for me I would give Redders and Rich Naylor the job until the end of the year. Both know the club inside out and more to the point have the players interest at heart, something Warnock does not have.
IMO his primary motivation in accepting the job was to use the club as a vehicle to feed his Walter Mitty like ego. We should have a teeshirt printed with the slogan on "its not all about you" and send it to him as a leaving present. -

I might just endure the humiliation Bryan if it means we can get shut of Warnock as a result. However we are all too familiar with the unpredicability of the cup, Cities dip in form and our own erractic performances this year. WE live in hope and "always look on the "bright side" watch out Dunster you have more to loose than us.

Reports in the papers say that Nigel Adkins is in talks with GFH to take over at the end of the season or before.
In my opinion he should be brought in now to give him plenty of time to sort a team out for himself as we are going nowhere this season. Colin is past his sell by date so get him off the shelf! -

When you take a new manager on there is no guarantee that he will be a success no matter what his pedigree.
At the moment only Owen Coyle who did a good job at one club did not do well in the premier league, and Nigel Adkins did a great job at the Saints but was sacked for some unknown reason.
Both probably have a point to prove, and as much as I would like Mourinho to be our next manager we will get what our lowly position deserves.
Of the 2 available I would slightly favour Adkins only because I don't know why he was sacked when he appeared to be doing a good job. Coyle ha proved he can manage at this level, but maybe not at a higher one.
It's all a matter of luck really. Who would have thought the Don would have done what he did when he was made player manager.
It all has to do with the relationship with the Chairman. There has to be faith on both sides, and until KB has gone this will never be the case with our club. MOT - View More Messages
