Only Stoke City is the second oldest established Football club in the world and it was in the original football league- a lot more than the infamous London clubs- where I now live amongst them. It has the largest number of leagues in the Potteries than any other city for its size, and most of all produced the finest winger in the country STANLEY MATHEWS, At one time Stoke City had eleven international players, NOT IMPORTED.
