Faubtauk, how can you respect both the Bible and the koran when they contradict one another? The Bible speaks of God offering salvation through one unique Way - His Son. The koran speaks of worshipping their one god and anyone who doesn't must die by the sword - why should the latter deserve respect??
The other thing that I don't understand is that, in your opinion, the advancement in science seems to determine that all churches will ultimately have to close! What is the contradiction between science and religion?? However, I DO agree that the theory of evolution contradicts the 2nd law of thermodynamics - I prefer to believe in the latter.
