    It would be great to have a good cup run as long as it doesn't impact on our league form. The league is the important one and I would prefer to get back in the premiership than be a losing finalist. Although to be the only team to win the FA cup and gain promotion in the same year does sound good, Oh!! and familiar

        Sorry to burst your bubble, but there has only been 1 team that has ever won the FA cup and gained promotion to the first division in the same season and that was the Albion 30-31 season Beat Birmingham 2-1 in the final and were runners up to Everton in the league.
        Southampton won the cup in 75-76 season but ended up in sixth place in the league.
