    Ladies & Gents alot af rumours going around about Ledley is ready to quit through injury??
    I hope this is just a rumour,and hope he gets back to fitness soon but What if its true,who else could we buy to replace him?
    Dawsons been great,gardner is never been ideal,Rochca will take time?

      He has been quoted as saying he will be back sometime in March, so it's just rubbish rumo...

      I really really hope its a rumour, sure it is. He's only 26 and should be back soon, hopefully stayin injury free for rest of the season. Thinks he's the main reason for our disappointing season in the premier league. He's our best player by far and that isn't sayin anything bad about the others cos we have some superstars but I wouldn't say that John Terry has got anything on a fit Ledley. Hopefully hes still got a long career left at the lane.

      I reckon its fake too but michael owen was out for yonks with a similar foot problem befor...

      I reckon its fake too but michael owen was out for yonks with a similar foot problem before his knee problem so i'll be patient. on replacements i'm not sure what would be available. in this country there is no equal centre half outside of chelsea or man u. or perhaps micah richards and cutis davies but we'd pay a fortune for them. we'll probably have to get another young-un from championship which will put pressure on daws for a bit and would mean not breaking the top four for another year.

        Curtis Davies or Micah Richards would not be equall to Ledley but I dont think anyone we could get would be anywhere near him. Heard good things about Davies though so would be good if we could get him but he and Richards would both be well overpriced. Think Davies is a much more realistic target though. We need ledley back more then anything, no replacement would have his talent or experience.

      He's too young to retire, even on medical grounds, and to be a professional footballer you have to have the obsessive drive to succeed, there's no way he'll stop playing until his doctor ties him down & forces him to (look at John Terry...).

      And he's Spurs through & through, even if he didn't think his fitness will get back up to scratch for the team he wouldn't leave until Big Mart made him.

      He knows he's got medals in him, he just needs a bit of time.
