It's surprising though, because Dawson still had 4 years on his contract, so they've only added one. There's got to have been a heft pay rise involved, and deservedly so. I think it's more a regonition thing of all the work he's done this year, both from the club to him and so the fans can see the club acknowledge him. Works for me, he's been a superhero.
