Talking of the Final in 1984, I was there that night and recall Tony Parks saved a penalty.
My daughter had a birthday card from Spurs this year (we're Lilywhite members) featuring a photo from the game and it took me a while to realise the signficance of the date. I'll never forget the atmosphere at the Lane - it was long before the advent of the all-seater stadium - and remember starting off near the front in the East Stand but gradually being pushed further back by the end of the game.
It was a fab night and all the better because we won :-)))
