there's nothing anti english about what i've said... the prem is a globally marketed product... there's hardly anything english about it besides the commentary... the players, coaches, youth, backroom staff, etc. are from all over.... so why don't you just stick to addressing the points i've made regarding the product/competition being substandard compared to say the la liga? the top half may be alright, but teams like getafe, osasuna, etc. will easily THUMP the likes of west brom, bolton, etc. as seen in europe all the time.. overall, 20 teams included, your competition is not good enough.... and you can see that evidence at all levels of your national setup, including the u21 humiliation recently.....
The under 21's was a dissapointment. No arguements there.
I disagree about the strength of the league though.
I watch a fair amount of european football and the tail end of La ligue, Seire A and Bundesliga are dire, teams like Stoke, Bolton, Villa, Fulham are stronger sides. Fulhams run in Europa league last year goes some way to demonstrating my point.
The links at the end show that the EPL is the most widely watched and the strongest league. UEFA's rules not mine!

Just a query Jambo, as I'm not certain, but isn't the EPL the only league with 4 teams in the CL, though I'm not sure about la Liga. That shows how strong UEFA think EPL is, surely?
I cannot argue on your suppositions as I haven't watched any "foreign league" games for a few seasons but any body can see how Barca are streets ahead. Doesn't mean the La Liga is a better/stronger league.
As Joe already pointed out Fulham got to the final of the EL and also Portugal had 3 of the last four in it last year. Does that imply the Portuguese league is stronger than all others?
