      Oh and is that a hatrick for Dempsey then...or one to open is account (he got into some argy bargy in the second match v Jamaica in the WC qualifiers (which as you know US lost the first of a home and home series).

      Dembele and Sandro definite for the midfield
      Not sure if AVB will with two wingers...might sacrifice Lennon for Livermore and really clog up the middle (especially with Bale's new penchant for drifting infield.

      Dempsey will come off the bench

      Adebayor up front (if he practiced well...if not then half-pint will go again...wont mind if he thumps one in like that disallowed goal v Ukraine the other night).

      CB pairing...might want to give Gallas a rest and play Dawson and Vertonghen (not sure how the Dawson-AVB relationship is at the moment).

      LB and RB - no change there (is it me or has Walker looked a bit soft and off the pace so far this season?). BAE will continue to astound and annoy in equal measures, but will generally getaway with his quota of fouls.

      Fridel in goal (only because that's the way its looking...I for one want Lloris to start....integrate him sooner than later (pissed him off after less than a week...AVB's no harry when it comes to man management, that's for certain.

        A hat trick would be great, but no, I think he will start on the bench and hopefully come on and get one. the reason I just put a name down as a scorer is because SB came up with a points system for correct score and a named scorer. I notice you havent yet joined the prediction table yet so why not give some competition to SB and FAB and have a go?

        From the 7-9-12:

        I'm sure someone else has already listed this but, currently (due to injuries) for the Reading game (15-9-12) I'd go with:

        Lloris

        Walker
        Dawson (Kaboul if fit)
        Vertonghen
        BAE

        Sandro
        Dembele

        Gylfi
        Dempsey (playing just behind Ade)
        Bale

        Adebayor

        Lennon and Defoe being utilised for 30mins EACH in the second half. Parker, Townsend, Brad, Naughton and Gallas, (Daws if Kaboul starts) if required.

        I think Dempsey will offer more to the team and he will allow Gylfi, Bale and Dembele to be more involved in the attack. Once Reading are knackered, then Defoe and Lennon can take exploit any space.

        I think Reading will close us down and work very hard. Dempsey's engine and work ethic will help support the midfield, I think he'll help the midfield link with the attack better than Defoe might. Defoe definitely needs time and I'd look to start him at home to QPR. Gylfi is creative and can help to unlock a team better than Lennon can IMO, so I'd start with him.

        Can't wait.
