    I saw a little rumour that Blackburn want Tim to be their new manager...I wonder what impact that would have and if he has been pointing AVB in the right direction tactically when he hasn't got it entirely right?

      If the above is still current, he seems to oversea all the teams (apart from the first team I would assume from parts of the articale - although the scope does say 'all squads') - I had heard that he was the man involved with the nextgen competition, so it could be his role still.

      I think he'd be mad to go personally. The rumours also abounded earlier that he was being 'groomed' for the Spurs manager's job and that he was thought very highly of by the club. The Venkys have been inspiring as owners have they?

      I don't think Sherwood's role at Spurs is that close to AVB (I'm not actually sure what his role is now) - I thought that was Freund's role?

      I read the same stories regarding Sherwood, first the club spokesperson says he can't believe Kean is still in a job, now this!

      He must be livid- mind you, *IF* he was better and not such a back stabber, maybe his job wouldn't be up for grabs every other week.
