    Birmingham post Carling Cup

Signals from blues say Bowyer could be heading out. Phillips will want to be looking for a new club to get more action in a squad. Martins will be taken back by Rubin Kazan. Johnson "pledged" his future to blues but seeing where we are in the table its a bit worrying to be honest. All the people I know are like "YES, TWO TIMES WE'LL GO TO WEMBLEY THIS SEASON." My reply is at the cost of our Premiership Status?

Larsson will go at the end of the season and its also a worry when we lose Bentley, Hleb, Martins and Derbyshire <--- Who has been terrible all season. Now we have a money crisis? The europhia of the Carling Cup might be short lived >.<,

    • It will be interesting to see what sort of team he picks for Bolton, a good show tonight should earn a poInt and out of bottom 3.
      Shame about ARSEnal.

    • According to the reports coming from the press, we are a bit light in first teamers,
Zigic, Gardner, Johnson, Jiranic, Ridgewell, Ferguson, and god only knows who else.
Lets hope Alex can install that never say die attitude missing at the last two league games.
Just keep a clean sheet at Everton lads, and the rest will look after itself.
      In Eck we trust.

PS, Arsole Whingers cavalier approach to winning four trophies this season.......coming off the rails. Big time! oops.

    • So we lost a game we really needed to win. Whatever the reason it's now history. It's gone. Let's just have the confidence and conviction that we'll win the next game and the next and the next etc.
Once you start thinking you're going to lose, you will and that's a certainty. If you really believe you're going to win the chances are you will. Simple.
So I'm with Pte Pike, my glass is half full (and I've got a full bottle in the other hand ready to top it up!)

      • A case of the lords’ mayor parade (or in our case before) springs to mind, yes it was a bad day and with the crowd in full voice too.
However, we have 2 games in hand; I would prefer the points but we have to go into the games with the same attitude as last weekend. Not sure why Big Eck made certain changes and again the best chances fell to the only player that can’t find the net. Not scored in the league since November Mr Jerome.
        But the future is bright.
Carson Yeung is looking for investment so as we can go to into Europe.
Come the end of the season when we retain Premier status then all contracts will be looked a different light.
I can be as pessimistic as the next person, but this time I feel more optimism for the future of Birmingham City.
My glass too is half full

    • Do you do funeral speeches?
With pessimism like that, we are already doomed.
Thankfully, your glass appears only 'half' empty.
