Newcastle United Message Board
I thot Stuart Pearce did a very good job at Man City, and also as England U-21 coach.
He was also smart enough to get rid of Joey Barton.
So, why not Pearce for Newcastle?
Not enough expereince. We need a good manager (don't forget the #$%$ state pearce left man city in before he was, you guessed it, SACKED).
We need someone with a bit more ability. I must admit I thought big sam was the guy and probably would have been given a couple of seasons. But as was pointed out ot me the other he isn't MA's man. MA obviously has someone else in mind. Sam's sacking, in my opinion, is related to business #$%$ rather than ability.
It will be interesting to see who MA goes for, I will be very surprised if it is for any of the #$%$ who are currently taking up column inches.
You're missing the point.
Why is Stuart Pearce not good enough for Newcastle?
He used to play for Newcastle, he was Captain for England, and he did nothing to indicate he is not good enough for Newcastle?
how about steve maclaren. look what he achevied ay middlesborough. LOL just joking, you want to go forwards, not backwards. put it this way, keagan could do you justice, he will get results, ok he,s not in football right now. but thats what you need. he did get you 4th spot and runnings up to man utd in the 90,s . 1996 i think.
