  • Diarra moves on again

I am not quite sure why I feel sad everytime I think of the fact that we let him go...

I know he was disruptive in the dressing room ...he probabbly threatened to disrupt the harmony in the squad at the time when we were flying...I always believed he was better than Flamini but I agreed with Le' Boss's decision to play Flam instead of him...we should've loaned him instead till Flam signed a contract....Altho I must say I had agreed with Le Boss at the time ...it was probably a lack of vision and one of AW's major slip ups.....much more than allowing Flamini leave...

Yeah we made 2m + 5m from the from the onward sale of Diarra ...but believe me we are where we are at the mo because we lack a decent DM ....Le Boss will probably spend 12-15m to get a DM and he still will not be as good as Diarra ...maybe that is why AW is finding hard to spend...

Its madness at the same time to presume that he's actually suddenly worth 20m though. The guy's a tidy enough midfielder, but there wasn't a chance that he could dislodge Flamini, given the form he showed last season.
Diarra wasn't only behind Mattieu, he was also below Gilberto in the pecking order...... which probably was his biggest problem.

Flamini's allround play was probably better than Diarra and he was having the season of his life there was no way Diarra was going to bench him at that time...

As a ball winner he was much better than Flamini certainly more tenacoius ..his main problem was that whenever he forays forward his end product was not very good...to be honest he is better than Denilson Song and Diaby as a holding player...
