Dont agree at all on Santos. One torrid first half against Chelsea aside I've been very happy with his performances, particularly going forward. Saw a nice stat which highlighted that he's actually made more interceptions than any other player in our team. His positional sense needs to improve but how many defenders have been written off early into their premiership careers and ended up doing the business?
This game, whilst not really proving much considering it was our B team did prove that there is a lot of shite that needs to be flushed.
Arshavin - Where did it all go wrong, one of the biggest high profile disappointments ever to play for the club since I've been a fan. Far more so than Reyes and only bested by Baptista. Maybe scoring 4 goals at Anfield carries some kind of curse? Baptista certainly played terribly after achieving that feat!
Chamack- Awful. Terrible touch, no presence on any part of the pitch. Feels like you're playing with ten men.
Both goalkeepers - Flaps and Mannone are bloody awful, Fabianski reminds me of Bartez when he was at Utd. Capable of some unbelievable saves but then ruins it with his terrible decision making.
AOC looked electric when he was on the ball but I'd like to see him make a bit more effort to make sure he gets on the ball, you cant wait for it to come to you all the time and then complain about the service. I'm nit picking really because I've never been as sure about any player we've had that he will be an absolute superstar and a massive player for both Arsenal and England in the very near future
Condolences to Olympiakos though, what a terrible way to get knocked out of the Champions league.

good post agree 100%. It pains me about Arshavin because I like him a lot as person and for the potential he has, it just doesn't come out for him and maybe he needs more playing time.
I think we desperately need another striker. Chamakh is not PL material and clearly Park doesn't have Wenger's confidence.
I think Wenger needs to rest our stars more. The one moment he conceeds RvP is on the edge of exhaustion, the next moments he doesn't take him our even when we have good leads in games. Taking RvP out after 60 minutes when we have a lead can give some important minutes to his back-up (yes even when that has to be Park or Chamakh or moving Theo to the centre.)
Same for Song who is having a good year, take him out 20 miutes early when we have a lead and bring in Frimpong.
Song and RvP will be important in the second half of the season.
