The problem created by some big clubs who offer excessive wages to unproven youngsters.
Clubs like Arsenal want to live within their means but it's impossible to do so when you have others offering silly money to entice their players.
slayer, clubs pinch as much as they can from fans, so they can hardly complain when players & agents do the same.
isnt it up to a club if they want to take a gamble & offer excessive wages on unproven youngsters? sometimes it pays off & sometimes it doesnt. no one is forcing them to take this risk.
for example utd can offer pogba more money or let him go.
they have decided he isnt worth more money & are letting him go.
theres no problem.
as for arsenal not being able to offer silly money to players-
u do realise u have players like djour, almunia, bendtner etc on around 50k. if u didnt over pay the squad players, u could easily afford to give better players more money.
LOL. Arsenal can't compete for unproven youngsters? They need a level playing field so they can pinch players no-one has ever heard of from little clubs?
That's the funniest thing I've heard since Butch's last cockup.

Just to clarify.......... 'unproven' at the highest level, e.g. Scott Sinclair, Adam Johnson, Pogba, Morrison, Pique, Rossi, Kevin Prince Boateng, etc, aforementioned players were unproven when their former clubs either didn't enter a bidding war to out-do other rich interested sides or sold or released these youngsters.
