Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. I thought Jenkinson played a great match and hopefully will get the nod ahead of Sagna. I also hope that perhaps Fabianski has gained some maturity during his lengthy layoff and will get the nod ahead of Szcznesny. Neither keeper is very good but I think Szcznesny has been beaten from outside the box too often this season. When tested Fabianski had a far superior reaction time. This does not change the fact that neither one should be in goal.
The Bayern result means nothing if it doesn't lead to the confidence to beat Swansea.
