'Leaving aside who the quote comes from..' (hehehehehe! I bet!).
'The article you posted lays out the fact that even though the club always says it has money to spend, AW never spends it. I think everyone with a modicum of sense agrees with that.'
(Hmmm.....spent a fair old whack this season John, has he not!?!?! So much for 'Facts' eh!?!?)
' I can't wait to see how the sheep try to defend their unwavering belief if we don't get into the top four this year. '
Care to explain what this 'unwavering belief' actually is John?
(first use of 'sheep' BTW!)
'It's one thing to be in position where you can't compete. It's another when the club keeps telling us it can compete, but then doesn't! It's not as if the sheep around here actually contribute to the clubs coffers. Unlike some of us.'
Arsenal have not had the best season, granted, a lot of changes in staff this year though. I do believe that should be taken into account. The team has grown in strength as the season has progressed and is in good shape for next season (no doubt the Wenger haters will do their best to disagree).
Apparently Johns 'sheep' do not 'contribute to the clubs coffers'. As John has no way of knowing this whatsoever, i'd say he was skipping off into his hatred filled land of make believe, yet again.
(2nd use of the term 'sheep' BTW!).
'I really want us to finish in the top four again, and in the CL. Without it, we wont be able to buy the players we need to win silverware.'
Absolute drivel. Who are these players 'we need' then??????
(You should apply for a scouting job old man!)
' At this stage, the odds are stacked against us.'
The odds are indeed 'stacked against' the club (to qualify for CL next season).
'Everyone knows we need a miracle..'
Not really a 'miracle'. A win for Chelsea against Spurs and two wins for us should do it surely?
'and if we get one, the sheep will claim it to be Wengers plan all along.'
Oh dear.....John's fantasising about his 'sheep' again.
