Arsenal Message Board
Not just for his crucial goal today, he has been massive for us this season and I hope he's rewarded with a new contract for his efforts.
But we shouldn't have put ourselves in this position.
Next tasks for Wenger:
* Get tough and get rid of the non-contributing wage suckers (Bendtner, Santos, Denilson, Chamakh, Park, etc, etc).
* Spend wisely, strengthen the side and add the quality we need this summer.
Do that, and I strongly believe we stand a better chance to walk the EPL title next season. We have shown in the last 2 months that we have the quality to win things, we just have to take the positives to the start of new season and be consistent as we've been when it matters most.
We already have the basis of a very good side but it's now time for Arsenal to kick on!
I agree with most of what you say but am not sure we will walk the PL title next season, but we have a chance to close the gap to 1st. If we finish net season higher than 4th and within 10 points of 1st, I think that would be a good improvement.

For the first time in ages the defence looks like they are fighting for each other and even Per is doing bloody well, and he was being slated at the start of the season.
With the right players coming in as you said, we could seriously challenge next season.
Jovetic to me is a false number 9 which is OK if you have a top goal scorer sittting front of him which we don't have.
Wenger needs to go crazy and spend big to replace RVPs goal contribution.
Higuain looks very good for the suggested money and Lewandoksi is the standard we should be looking at!
Now it's weeks of speculation and possible dissapointment with the transfer market, just hope Wenger grows some for the 2013/14 season!
Well done Spuds, you tried very hard this season, but you do every season dont you!
It will be interesting to see what your team looks like next seson without Bale!
