The fact that Spurs selling their best player opened the door for Arsenal to finally get their hands on Ozil!
I bet the Spurs faithful and Levy etc are absolutely exasperated. They spend over £100M, still get beaten by an under strength Arsenal side and then Arsenal make ONE siging that puts all the Spurs new boys in the shade!
so this ONE decent signing (in a position you dont even need) is going to make you world beaters eh pixie?
the one missing link to bring the trophies flooding in? hahahahaha
AND he is better than all of the spuds new signings? PMSL
If you won f...all with RVP, fabregas, nasri etc what makes ozil any different you plum?
no wonder everyone laughs heartilly at you metro boy
Not wishing to rain on the parade, as I also believe Ozil will be a superb addition to the team, BUT our win over Spurs was due to the fact that they were fielding a team with a lot of new players, who just are not used to playing yet as a team.
This will hopefully play into our hands in the early days, but they will get better as the season progresses.
The big measure will be when we play them at #$%$ Hart Lane. If we beat them there, then I will be right up in my neighbour's faces rubbing it in.
Moye's transfer team let him down big time. Utd will survive, but silverware will be a huge win this year. The EPL is very unlikely given the amount others have strengthened by.

I think it's a bit much to say the reason Arsenal won was because Spurs were fielding a team with new players. Sure they were not up to speed but Arsenal may well have beaten them anyway. I agree the next meeting will be a better gauge. That said, Arsenal began last season with a hugely changed side and I seem to recall many 'plaudits' on the teams back at every turn. Also I recall Wenger getting slated for not signing Parker in recent seasons, enough said on that.
United are a laughing stock today. Their chasing of Fabregas was highly entertaining.
Ozil is a superb signing and the Prem will be lit up by the Arsenal attack. Personally I hope Walcott gets his chances upfront with Arteta and Cazorla and Ozil supplying the ammo.
I agree we were lucky to play Spurs early on in the season before they had a chance to gel. I also think the signing of Erikson by Spurs will help them a lot in the 2nd half of the season.
On the flip side we could and should have score at least one more goal and we were clearly a tired team, chance are we will be better next time we play them.
The failure to sign a striker, I don't count Sanogo, is a concern should Giroud get injured.
At the moment it seems to me that anything can happen in respect to the final standing of the top 6 in the PL.
