its pretty easy to pick the england team, we all seem to agree on the most part of, except for the odd 2 or 3 players but the XI picks itself.
This is the Worst England Could do according to current premier league form -
GK Chris Kirkland - On Loan at West Brom
LB Julian Gray - Birmingham City
CB Matthew Upson - Birmingham City
CB Chris Riggot - Middlesbrough
RB Steve Watson - West Brom
LM Stuart Downing - Middlesbrough
CM Nicky Butt - On Loan at Birmingham
CM David Dunn - Birmingham (When he aint injured)
RM Jermaine Pennant - Between Birmingham and Court haha
CF Geoff Horsfield - West Brom
CF Emile Heskey - Birmingham
i would also like to point out the english strikers who have scored more than Shearer so far this season ......
Wayne Rooney and Darren Bent - 10 Goals Each
Marlon Harewood!! - 9 Goals
Andy Cole (also retired from internationals) - 8 Goals
Michael Owen - 7 Goals
James Beattie, Darius vassell and Defoe - 5 Goals

Wow ...a couple of comedians, though all points are valid.
Wasnt stewart downing meant to be the left sided saviour....i forgot about him, though i think he's been out injured and now back in the reserves playing.
as for heskey, he could do a similar job.
all im saying is dont take too many ''squad'' players that are the same to the first team choice.
back in 1990 bobby robson, tokk players like paul parker, gary stevens, hodge and webb, platt wasnt a first team choice up till then and we almost done a job on the Krauts.
ive got no doubt we can win this, but the squad needs to cater for all eventualities.
COME ON ENGLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get in there Marlon! He'll never get a call up though. I still think Konchesky and Etherington would be an idea for the England WC team. As you might have guessed, I am a West Ham supporter I'm afraid.
Still, even Heskey would do a better job than Shearer. His only game plan is to foul as many players as possible without getting sent off.
