I fully support the efforts to hold Grand Prix in places like Hungary or Russia where there is obviously investment needed, however as you say they are not looking at what they can do for the development of the country more like what they can squeeze out of the venue and spectators to line their pockets.
They obviously look at the cash rich middle and far east and see that they can make a killing by getting someone else to foot the bills for a grand Prix. Leaving them to concentrate on the PR!
It would be good to bring back the Long Beach Grand Prix, or at least have another Grand Prix in North America. I think Americans are great fans of racing and would appreciate it more, they may even put something back into the sport.
