Ronaldo has "alledgedly" been going to Real Madrid for years...........yet still he stays. He himself has said that "he is at the right club".
All the great players are surrounded by transfer rumors, Drogba, Gerrard, Ronaldo, Owen ( Japan Michael????), so it's really nothing new.
I remember when Beckham left United for Madrid, I was quite distressed, worried on the effect that the loss of such a talismanic figure would have on the team. At the end of the day, one player, no matter how great, does not make a team. Nor would their departure break it. If Ronaldo left United, he would be missed, but the team would move on. In games where he has been missing through injury or suspension, United have coped, and won.
Ronaldo is not going to Madrid, but if he did, it wouldn't be the end of the world. - View More Messages
