I can't remember a referee, either current or former critisising another ref's decision, but Alan wiley's justification of the penalty for Ashley Young's obvious swan dive is simply embarrasing. I am a totally neutral football fan so have no axe to grind. Ashley Young clearly hung out a leg and then played best man falls (only 7/10). Refereeing standards in professional football are
attrocious, especially considering the financial implications of a duff desision.
