That would have been #$%$ Excellent. I laughed my #$%$ off at that one. Mick McCarthy to sign Roy Keane and make him captain. Those 2 hate each other so much they both sank their own countries chances of success in the last world cup. Roy took Ireland there single-handedly, from a group containing Portugal and Holland, a remarkebale achievement in itself. It only goes to show the depth of their hatred for each other that they couldn't last a few weeks there together without a major bust up and they haven't spoken since. I would have LOVED to hear the phone call from Mick to Roy to ask him to sign for Sunderland.
