No doubt you will all be raving on about how miracles never cease to come back from 3 - 0 down. But you do not deserve it for one reason: you beat Chelsea because the linesman scored your goal. You should never have been in the final in the first place. Your trophy is one that has not been earned, and you have won only disrespect. In short, you cheated.True football fans will hope that you are never given the chance to defend it.
Wow so England should not have won the world cup spurs should have won at old trafford the list goes on.
What you need is to look at the laws of the game. its all about the opinion of the officials at the time. this is not american football where endless TV replays still produce dubious decisions.
It's quite sad to see how petty and pathetic some people can be. Why don't you all just grow a pair of testicles and say what you really mean. You hate the fact that Liverpol won because you all wanted chelsea to be there. You wanted a trio of cups and are moaning becasue you were pipped to it by a club that boasts fans with love and players with determination that can't be bought by some dodgy Russian.
Face the facts, the Liverpool players dug in and literally gave blood, sweat and tears for that win. They simply wanted it that much more and they got it. I will admit that they had a bit of luck, maybe Gerard did dive, maybe Dudek left his line on the penalties, but every team gets their bit of luck. It was Liverpool's night. They had the luck and used it well. That's the game of football.
You may not like it, but Liverpool are European Champions and nobody, or nothing can change that. If you were in this position, I don't think you'd be whining like a school girl. To top it all off, it's highly likely Milan would've whipped Chelsea on the night; so just get over it.
My expectations for next year? Tricky question really, I think benitez is the man to take us forward and IF we get a Champions Leage place next season as holders of the trophy we should be able to attract some good players to Anfield.
Realistically, a good cup run and a top 3/4 finish would be good i think. I believe it will take 2 maybe 3 years as to build our squad as we have'nt got the money to spend that Chelsea have. I do honestly believe that the genuine 'real' Liverpool fans are the best, and that can make a big difference on the team. I dont get to Anfield as often as i would like so cant really class myself as one of those fans. Was amazing the support they gave the lads when they came out for the second half against Milan.
I hate the bragging that some fans do, they need to learn to be good winners as well as good losers. Leave the bragging to Utd lol. Good luck to Chelsea and Mourhino, i think he's cool, stands up for what he believes in but isnt arrogant like Fergie.
Heres to a great season 2005/06
Come on you Reds
I'm agreed on that one haha...
It's great to see their 'loyal' fans in such dismay.
I hope Liverpool progress from here, though... I'm not liking this red domination thing going on... hopefully Everton fly the Blue Flag hehe.
What are your expectations next seasons then, as a Liverpool fan?
Haha, i dont agree wiv them threatening to take points off of u. U paid your fine so that should be the end of it.
Dont think it would be worth u talkin to Stevie G, Stevie's goin nowhere.
Hope next season is as good s this one has been, and Utd end up with nothing again lol
and Chelsea needed an own goal to level with Liverpool in Carling Cup... before going into extra time.
and Chelsea needed an own goal in Barcelona to get the away goal advantage.
and Chelsea needed Thiago to block Valdes just for Terry to score the winner against Barcelona.
and well... I guess Chelsea are that "sklliful" to get to the Quarterfinal in the first place.
Btw... I am also very impressed with Everton on their fourth placing in the league and yet with a negative goal difference.

oopss... made a silly mistake.
It was Carvalho that blocked Valdes when Terry scored the winner.
Btw... Thiago was "skillfull" too when he successfully hide his handball against Liverpool when Chelsea visited Anfield... while Dudek was just not good enough to save a deflected shot (if not wrong, deflected by Carragher) by Joe Cole in that match.
oh... one more thing... technology proved that the goal did not cross the line... yeah, sure man... gimme your picture and I will make you be the referee in that match with all the technology you can name nowadays.
Dont understand the bitterness, i really dont.
Chelsea cldnt score against us over 2 matches, the did it cross the line didnt it it cross the line argument will never be resolved, however as in 1966, the linesman judged it was a goal.
Juventus couldnt score against us at home, and then the mighty AC Milan let slip a 3-0 lead.
Fully deserved win i think, look at the teams we beat on the way to the final.
