Who sat with the Arabs in directors box on Monday......???
One Senor David Villa..............

Certainly be a good signing - his record in the spanish league last season was excellent - 25 goals from 37 games. This season hes got 8 from 15 already, with 4 CL goals in 7.
Not sure wether i prefer him or trezeguet.
I am fairly happy with kuyt and crouchy, so dont see the need to buy another striker ?
I DONT personally think the problems at the start of the season were down to us not scoring, but more us conceeding goals.
I was surprised to find out that we had the best record defensively in the league. The facts say we lost 6 more games than united, and drawn 1 more.
If we had say drawn those 6 games instead, then we would only be 2 points behind chelski and 8 behind manure. Put 2 more wins in there, and we'd be knockin on the door a bit more loudly.
But, as I always say, there is no point bitching about it, its a waste of energy, because it wont change things.
Overall, we gotta be happy with 3rd at this stage of the season, and with chelski starting to stutter, we got a good chance of catching them.
2nd place would be a real bonus for us, and an excellent springboard for next season.

totally agree....
man utd. are the only ones who/ve let in less goals - BUT every other team have scored more..... we need a gel'd pair of consistant goal scorers.... kuyt/bellemy def. !! crouch ????? he needs to be sharper.. think we do need a top, top striker

the only work out is on his back picking the ball out of the net, I would rather stick with reina, who is the far better keeper out of the two.
-
heard on the grape vine Valencia want a Reina/Villa swap with cash....
So, we'll get Carson back (he's had a bloody good workout at charlton!!)
Warnock and maybe two others might be on their way out, to make up some cash for transfers......
But Villa is a viable option -
Why are you such an angry person? Your reply to an observation made about the TV piccies not picking 'Senor David Villa' is a bit over the top! Remember, not all of us are able to make it up to Anfield.
If what you are insinuating is true, then Rafa is up to his usual denial tactics until the deal is done. I personally don't know much about the guy but if what you are saying is correct then I reckon that 'God' may be leaving and not Crouchie as been reported in the media recently!- 1 Reply to David
