what if
rafa delivers fourth place and a europa cup would you still want him gone?
lots of negativity on here with people saying the blame is purely rafas or the american owners caused it all or maybe it was paco ayesteran leaving
i have news for you the blame lies with all of the above and you can count parry and moores in that statement as well
face it fellow fans the liverpool way of doing things is officially dead
what happened to the free flowing football we used to play what happened to liverpool being the most feared team in europe where did the fear of coming to play a anfield go usually teams coming to anfield were 1-0 down before a ball was kicked now all we hear is how burnley or bolton might just get something at anfield
its a disgrace this once great club needs to be great again and in order for that to happen we must stop this habit of airing our dirty linen in public and get the club overhauled from top to bottom and that includes a better youth policy and the pick up of local talent instead of the some of the foreign crap rafa has brought to the club
anyway i am in the rafa must go camp no matter what this seasons outcome and if that means torres goes then so be it as i have said before liverpool fc pay his wages not rafa benetiz
YNWA 96-
LOL, you can have fun with Rafas after match analysis by trying to guess what he'll say.....its not that hard at all.
Rafa did say it a while ago in better times..... -
Totally agree, I wouldnt have Masch at the back anyhow, my ideal central midfield pairing would be Gerrard on his day an absolute powerhouse of a midfielder, desire, energy, long and short passing, can dictate games, long range shooting ability, he'd be our playmaker with Mascherano as the grafter in the midfield, he'd do the hard work to enable Gerrard to dictate games, but lets be honest we don't live in an ideal world.

Adidas, I know what you mean, but it was a question and I offered my opinion. It was not a political debate and I was not in the mood to treat it as one. As for stevie g, you are right about his age, I was thinking of carra's 32 at the time and was trying to be kind. Sorry. however, I was thinking stevie has been a shadow of himself and that moving him back may allow him to command better. As for masch at the back, if he stays around the half way line it would allow stevie to move forward, who I think you will agree is more effective than masch.

Ah definetly mate. Get somoene in straight away. None of this fannying around near the end of the window and end up buying an injured player.
-
Apologies on my part.
P.S I was countering your opinion, you said Masch at RB which is what players in that position tend to do maraude up and down the right side of the field, unless you are talking of the pretense of Masch not venturing past the halfway line, oh and Gerrard is 29 years old, thanks ;). -
Sorry eloader never heard rafa say that, that may be because when rafa talks I turn over, I used to love when he spoke, now its always the same sort of speech.

JOHNY G2...Yes get him down the road soon as the whistle blows to end final match of the season dont waste a second even if he were by some fluke , everybody above us going on some horrendous run of defeats, delivers the title...GET THIS INCOMPETENT CLOWN DOWN THE ROAD !!!

What if there were no issues...
I would make Carra manager, Stevie G assistant manager/captain/player and bring in Alan Curbishley and their tutor/advisor.
On players test chelseas resolve over the two coles.
Same man city over ireland and richards.
If cesc is to leave arsenal, then test that one as well.
And get villa from valencia.
Giving us a first team of..
Reina
Mascherano Richards Gerrard Cole
Johnson Cesc Ireland Cole
Torres Villa- 1 Reply to Mysteron

So you have a centre midfielder at right back and our most influential players (stevie g) at centre back?
Have you been taking something you shouldn't?
I would take the players you have mentioned in a heartbeat but you have the set up very strangely.
Also, that lot would cost us over £100m (you're looking at £40m each just for cesc and villa plus at least £20m for Cashley Cole).

Gone - definately...
Ashamed to watch us play at times. If I want to see the ball passed sideways so often I'd be watching rugby league.- 1 Reply to OldBill

I would want him to stay as it would have shown character and fight. It is clear we need at least 1 more star player (Silva, Mata) who can go passed people and another striker to realistically challenge next year, especially bearing in mind City will spend big once more. The good points are that we currently have the 2nd youngest squad in the prem and that players like Ngog, Pacheco, Insua will have gained massive experience.
