Liverpool Message Board
I agree with you 100%..
But, there's one thing I learned born and raised in NY and not having an easy time growing up.. Words, in many, sometimes all occasions can be just as powerful, if not moreso, than actions.
So, if someone has the ability to get on here and dish it, they can surely read it, and some part in their tiny little brains/hearts has a place where pain can be felt.. and it's well deserved.
I believe in karma big time, what goes around, comes around.
No I meant Munich.
There is a small faction of non-LFC fans that have spouted hateful bile on here showing their lack of respect towards our tragedy. The same has occurred on the United board re Munich. It cuts both ways, no crowd are any better or any worse than the other and club loyalties are irrelevant when you lack human decency.
You are of course free to express yourself as you see fit. I just think articulate posts like yours might be wasted on some that clearly aren't capable of rational discussion on another team's forum... and won't get the point you're trying to get across to them!
I won't ever give anyone the satisfaction of using the ignore button, and will say exactly what/how I feel towards them and their ignorant, and embarrasing comments..
Did you you mean Heysel when you said Munich?
I ask because I show the same respect towards them and that tragedy..
The irony in all of this is, I've read and heard on countless ocassions, the sympathetic and respectful comments made by United players, and key figures including their own personal Gods, Sir Alex Ferguson and Bobby Robson..
When it involves football, scoring goals and trophies, they follow their words like blindless sheep, but when they speak on behalf of anything that involves respect and ethic, they seem to lose all sense of humanity.
Perhaps it's worth being said, that on top of God looking down in shame upon these wastes of life, SAF would shake his head in disgust and they'd kiss his shoes in a plea for forgiveness.
Jason, it ain't worth it mate.
This clown is clearly consumed by his hatred for our club, to the extent that basic decency goes out the window. These numpties exist on our side of the fence too sadly, spouting off about Munich and disrespecting the memories of those lost in that tragedy.
You just have to leave them to their hatred and miserable existence.... and use the old ignore button!
While I'm not from Liverpool / UK, nor was I educated fully on the situation, as a Liverpool supporter through and through, I do my best to follow it all and show my support and condolences too all.
I have to say, regardless of who/what you support, to have the sheer emptiness to spout off any negative comments especially dumping the blame on EVERYONE there who suffered, is an absolute disgrace, and mockery to the life you enjoy.
I watched a video and it showed a photo of every single life lost that day, and to say they were all ticketless or drunken people who caused it themselves, after seeing the photos, is factually and morally incorrect. There were 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 year old boys and girls, little children for god's sake!!! Do you think they were drunken or snuck in without tickets? Seriously?
You should have a look at each one of those little children's faces just one time, and realize that could be your child, or a niece/nephew or even neighbors, and they didn't even have the chance to live their life because they were tragically crushed in a horrific accident, and commenting in such an ill manner is like stomping on their little graves..
It takes a brave man (if you can call yourself that), to say such horrible things, when the loss of a child, multiple, were tragically lost before they could live to see their adult life..
Shame on you and anyone else reading this who thinks likewise.
So from your posts here I can assume you were there then?
I guess you saw it first hand? I assume you gave your views to be published in the subsequent investigation and report and you're an expert on crowd behaviour and how they behave differently to the individuals involved.
Actually I guess you probably read the Sun, actually know nothing about what really happened, the alledged police involvement in to the tragedy, the science of crowd behaviour and listen to hearsay of people that also know nothing about the subject.
Let it go juventus rangers or bradford don't go on about their tragedy if the pissed ticketless fans hadn't turned up this tragic incident wouldn't have happened the guilty fans have blood on their hands
