Come on guys, normally after our poor performances there is a wealth of threads on here complaining about this, that and tóther!
Where´s the support for what was a great all round performance against a team who play well above their position??
A famous management guru once said " For every criticism you make, you need to give praise ten times"
Got the feeling with us it´s too much the other way!
Thought I'd post about the Fulham game here as Miguel seems to be clairvoyant when predicting types of posts depending on the result.
First off bad result, poor performance and terrible team selection IMO. I know some wanted to see youngsters play but it can so easily backfire when they don't have quality around them.
However as I'm one of the usual suspects got to try and find some positive things to say. First up Carroll. No goals but won the majority of balls in the air against Hangerland. Second he never stopped running and showed real desire. Most last night played themselves out of Kenny's weekend plans but think Carroll helped himself.
Third Aurelio is done. Shame as I always liked him but his legs have gone. I say this is good news as it means we can move on over the summer to find competition for Enrique.
Lastly Stirling. Way too early to make predictions on a 17 year old but he looked confident comfortable and whipped in a couple good crosses. Hope his progress continues.

Funny old game Dave, I had Newcastle down for a draw at Chelsea whom, like us, fielded a second string against a team fighting to ensure CL football. Difficult call for De Matteo given the league positions perhaps but clearly expects to win the FA cup judging by his selection ton.
Fair play and hats off to Newcastle. Went for and got the three points against a Chelsea team who looked as if they should be wearing red and at Anfield such was the likeness of their performance to ours last night. Can´t remember Krul having to make a real save against a club who fired six past QPR. Bet no-one calls for De Mateo´s head though!
As for Cisse´s second goal, it´s on a par with Suarez´s lob!
MIGUEL...HAVE TO SAY iM VERY MUCH WITH dAVE ON THIS ONE THE CRITICISM OFTEN HAS NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH THE QUALITY OF OUR PERFORMANCE RATHER IT COMES FROM IGNORANT PEOPLE WHO know nothing of the game and are only interested in 3pts no matter how we come by them and if those 3pts dont arrive then ...out go their toys from their prams.
Looking forward to FA CUP FINAL...
COME ON U REDMEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly my point Dave and Colin! Lose and there are about ten threads with upwards of fifteen posts within minutes of the final whistle. Win and we get one thread with five posts. So, how many of us can count ourselves as real supporters?
Sure, as Dave says, criticism is justified at times but we need to show the same level of interest when we win.
I conclude from what you are saying then that the vast majority of posters on here are not true to the cause? Bit harsh wouldn´t you say?
You know the answer to that one Miguel most of those who post after poor results just are not very supportive . But I will pull you up on one point. After poor performances I think critical posts are warranted, but most of the noise (for lack of a better word) on here has been after poor results and had nothing to do with our performance.
