...No I am not talking Martinez, or AVB, but instead....Michael Laudrup who apparently could be one of the men being considered in liverpool's TOP 12 list....he is available, and apparently has fans in the "corridors of power" at anfield according to reports...
He'd be better than AVB I think, after his chelsea debacle, he's got a decent track-record.....I'd rather see him get it than Martinez, AVB or worse still Benitez....
Michael Laudrup - loved him as a player. loved the way Denmark used to play at World Cups.
Not really knocking him as a manager but ...
"...he left Brondby for Getafe, leading them to the final of the Copa del Rey and the quarter-finals of the old UEFA Cup."
Based on the reults KD produced this year - in actually WINNING a domestic cup - wouldn't this appointment smack of double standards or appointing "someone who has failed?"
Just tossing that one in for people - especaily all you Kenny knockers out there who might be thinking "Laudrup, yeah, why not? He did alright in Spain didn't he?" - to ponder.
Thing is if we do get AVB it might be tough for him as he's younger than Carragher and only a few yrs older than Gerrard..
However he's been at other clubs when he was younger than some of the players I'd assume?
When his tactics work and reselts come in...
Anyway we've not signed him yet as manager..
who are the younger managers we've accepted?
And why should we respect him ? he's done nothing for LFC yet!
I'll respect the position of manager of LFC but not the man until he earns it!
when laudrup was at getafe, he was magnificent, taking a 'small' club into the later stages of the europa league. Remember the incredible game against Bayern (it was harder to lose). ALWAYS rated the man, great credentials, young and hungry. Yep. he's high on my list. Pep will nevr come. He will go nowhere for for next year. he has stated he wants a break and I think he will take it. AVB is an enigma. Its like the chelsea death call. AVB was incredible with Porto, and just like scolari, they fail at chelsea. Why? Great managers don't just turn s**t overnight. It was the club, not the managers who failed, and so yea, AVB is high on my list as well. Martinez I like as well. Don't know much about him but sometimes 'big 'names find it hard to adapt, while young guys like martinez can grow into the job - and this has proved very successful over the years at anfield. One other that I've always admired in spain is pelligrini, but having taken Malaga to Champs league, I think he is off the radar. English managers? Yea, I think that would be good, but who?

We're lacking a heart at LFC.. We've lost our way somewhat..
Thats what Martinez said..
I think he's right..
Get the manager in and he gives that heart back to LFC.. makes it beat and we'll get playing with passion once more..
The way I see it is this the owners are the brains of the club, the manager is the heart.. the players are limbs and muscles that drive us..
