    Well I do not feel that he should step down, but both of your questions can be answered fairly simply. Experience is the main issue (people will argue that GS has no experience)in the top flight of football and it is not a relevent point as to where the manager comes from as long as he has the credentials to do the job well.

      No Experience at top flight football???? Southgate has over 50 caps for England and has played at the highest level in Europe and domestically.
      The subject question is academic.....there is no vacancy at present
