West Ham United Message Board

To think that many loved ones were actually executed for alleged cowardice during the WW1 makes one wonder whether a whole generation of kids brought up on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vidoe games have effectively turn this lot into couch potatoes and pu55ycat.
There was a time, in the not too distant past, when the WHU board used to be a place to unwind and have friendly chat with the regulars. Those days are now gone thanks to an unBritish-like act of cowardice.
The WHU posters are a disgrace to this nation and a bunch of cowards for deserting their post. I'd have given odds of 1000000/1 on the mighty Hammers' fans being the last group of posters to jump ship. Silly me!!!-

I saw a pigeon at Verdun Mick, the worlds bravest pigeon,...the one released by the commander of Fort Vaux if I remember rightly, which dropped down dead after delivering it's message of the plight of the defenders of the Fort.
I wonder if slayer knows anything about that, as he refers to the 350+ British Soldiers shot for being shell shocked etc. -

You can all put your pens away now and close the desk lids. The United Nations judicator said he couldn't hang around any longer he had to shoot.
But before he went he said tell them they've all failed. -

Evening all,
I guess all this talk about deserting sinking ships is a bordering on the ridiculous - quite what the originator of this post meant by insinuating that you leave at the drop of the hat is frankly insulting to all you genuine Hammers posters on this board.
Your ever friendly neighbourhood yiddo.. Wolfie!
