    Looks like he was just too greedy. He thinks he´s the dogs b´s and was asking for more money than most of the existing players! No doubt he´ll either crash n burn or eventually become one of the Chelsea tarts. We´re better off without him, his attitude really sucks.

Maybe Earnshaw can give Robson back his DVD showing Earnshaw how to become a better striker (who manages like that!) because Earnshaw sure doesn't need it half as badly as your other forwards (Hartson excluded) do.     Didn't see it (now live in Tokyo) couldn't hear it (late matches on at about 5am) but it doesn't surprise me in the slightest! It's exactly what we were talking about in the last thread. Ellington must be so scared of the fans that he wimps out in front of a crowd, because he must perform in training to get picked same as Zuber-bungler.
    What were the balls like that he received? Are we finally supplying some along the ground for him to run onto? (the same as Earnie always needed)Or is it all aerial still? Does Kamara pass the ball or is he just going for glory (January transfer)?

    I think you need Earnie!!! I dread to think where we would be if we hadn't managed to sign him from the baggies. Having said that, knowing Delia we could well be selling him in the January transfer window if we are mid table ( got to finance those pies ! ).

    Going on what I saw last night and the comments made by the people around me and on Radio WM after the match I seem to be in a majority at the moment so I can only think that you are looking at things through rose colored glasses (as they say) for your information the general consenus was that a) Mowbray was the wrong man to take over from Robson b)We should get rid of Peace and Mowbray and somehow get Megson back c) Mowbray's original team selection and susequent substitutions were bad,very bad! d) Does Peace actually want promotion? or does he just want to hang around the top half of the cahampionship where we are relatively safe,don't have to spend much money and he can claim we are successful just because our finances are in the black!

    Well I've just read McCarthy's views on the game and for the first time this season I think he's talking through his ring piece!! was he at the same game....I think he's actually starting to believe HE is a Dingle too!! blaming the loss of Murray on losing....even he wouldn't have stopped any of our three goals,if it wasn't for the ref and/or the linesman not giving offside for their second goal...and it was clearly offside on the replays! and Sodje not getting his head in when it counted the Dingles would have had what they deserved from the game.....NOTHING!!!

    Yes it looks like we are heading to the non-supporter friendly premiership.
    I say that because we never know when we are playing, or even if we are playing that week, without checking the fixtures.
    This is down to Sky and it's money and not the true football supporters.
    Having said that we can do with the money and should do well when we get up there.

    I agree with Clive.....again! we lost big time when Kev went to the Bluenoses and right up...

Miller can't play on his own up front with his back to goal he can't turn!! he's only any good running AT defenders,why can't Mowbray give Slusarski a try,he looked good in pre season,play him and Bednar up front and I would guarantee we would score!!

I guess you are a johnny come lately Chelsea fan who have only been a supporter since Abromovich took over & think you've always been a successful club but I think you'll find it took you 50 years to win anything. Big clubs are measured on their trophy cabinet contents & anyone who knows anything about football will tell you Villa are a far more successful team than your tinpot outfit...
