West Ham United Message Board
It matters not who said it, resorting to 'ad hominem' attacks is usually what is done by people who know they have lost the argument or are just plain thick! I will let the others decide which category you are in.
Paul Merson seems to be another giving ian wright a run for his money as 'who is the thickest ex arsenal player'. Needles to say it is not for speaking why we support them but for their ability on the pitch. the truth of the matter is owen has made an astute analysis of our current state of affairs, and wenger would be wise to take heed of his advise methinks.
"There is little doubting that Wenger's men are now a well-oiled machine," Owen wrote on social networking site Sportlobster.
"The players all know their jobs inside out with Wenger rarely changing his system and against the lesser lights in the league I always fancy them to out-score their opponents.
"It is against the big boys where I think they could struggle as, in my opinion, they don't have the class of player to go toe-to-toe with the main title contenders.
"Despite people constantly telling me that Mesut Ozil is world class, his inconsistency means that we only see occasional glimpses of real quality.
"His odd good performance is usually followed by half a dozen poor ones and despite Giroud performing admirably, unless Wenger acquires a new striker to help share the load, they could just tail off the longer the season goes on."
Wenger MUST sign a quality striker in january and will be short sighted if he fails to achieve this target.
Fabongrasss why so wound up to the extreme? Your defensiveness for ozil reveals your true worries. He is inconsistent and this is now agreed upon in the game by the true experts. That ship has cast anchors and sailed Im afraid to say. The stats DO lie in your case, much as they did when arsehavin joined and flattered to deceive, you were of the same mindset Im sure that he was a great and still you dont learn.
Mark my words, ozil is another flop of the same ilk, destined for the scrap heap. What we need now more than ever is a world class striker. I would however not be opposed to taking remy in the meantime who is a class above the poor giroud.
This season has shown that fergie was a true great of the game, as he dominated the name of the game season after season for 25 years. Now there is no true champion left just pretenders fighting for scraps. Arsenal proved they were poor shipping 6 against city and losing at home to poor aston villa and collapsing mentally against man u. Liverpool lost to hull and arsenal and lack quality , man u have struggled under new manager moyes to find their feet, chelsea are all over the place and man city have a great team at home, and a poor one away.
No outstanding candidate thats for sure. An betting man would we wise to pick man city to run away with it.
It will be an entertaining title race. All preseason contenders have shown their flaws and as you say a few of the small teams have shown big skills. For the moment and in absence of major January spending I would say the top 4 teams are till more or less equal favorites IMO but if I had to put a prediction down at this point it would be:
1. City - on account of current from and depth of squad
2. Chelsea - on account of depth of squad but they still don't seem to have hit their stride
3. Arsenal - on account of lacking depth most glaringly at striker but now also at CB
4. Liverpool - Suarez culd push them higher up the table than 4th but ....
Man U - could fight for 4th if they bring in some real quality players in January but you have to wonder which quality player would want to come and play for them at this point?
Spurs - Could come back into the top 4 depending on their new manager, they have a capable squad.
Everton - could surprise further by sustaining their current pace but a thin squad makes that difficult.
It is highly unlikely that the title race will be close with us in the touching distance of a few points, considering we have been 20+ points off in previous years gone by. How could the gap just close with no action taken? Expensive acquisition Ozil has been too inconsistent which has now been recognized by many an expert of the game. A striker will help us secure 3rd or 4th that is agreed upon but to win the title we need a major overhaul of the squad case closed.
PS the 01934 number isn't even in Bristol. It's Weston Super Mare etc. Bristol starts 01179. years ago this was simply 9 or 0272 but now 01179! Good luck
Absolute b0ll ux.
I am an ordinary guy who does ordinary things. I do not have the tech knowledge to create, acquire and dispatch virus's. And if anything came from a fisherroy account then it was sent by someone else.
I'm pretty confident that someone is you. You do have previous for sending porn AND virus's to people. And that is a fact, although a fact I am sure you will be denying as it would damage your credibility as being innocent in this alleged matter.
If it was me WHY O WHY would I be saying take it to the Police? I know that you know this is the truth because you know where these e-mails are coming from. If Sweet is too blinkered to see any further than what you tell her there is nothing I can do about that. Anyone can make up an ID and many can hack an ID and send whatever crap to whoever. If I so wished I could make an ID up that looked as though it came from sweet and cause trouble...that is what is happening here, by you. And anyway. If..IF I wanted to send disgusting e-mail or virus's (I would need to be clever for the virus), why would I be stupid enough to use one with an ID that is obvious??
End off and goodbye. you are boring me now.
Good luck with the phone calls fella
I hope Wenger will get Costa or Michu in January. We are not far from having a squad that has a serious chance of competing for titles (that is not to say that the current squad can't win a trophy) but we need most of all a better striker. This title race will likely come down to a few points between 1st and 2nd and a striker who is more clinical can make that difference.
One thing for sure, it won't be Arsenal!
OUT of the league cup to Chelsea.
Soon to be OUT of the CL when Bayern Munich are through with you.
Spurs will knock you OUT of the FA Cup in January.
And you'll be OUT of the EPL running before April.
That'll be NINE years and counting!
Stupid flucking people who send jokes around to all their fwiends, spreading viruses to everyone in everyone's contact list, Sweet was getting them without asking, and had to ask the person to stop, apparently too late. I also got a virus sent, from the same source, but I have three layers of protection, and the only thing I saw was one of those layers informing me the threat had been deleted.
This season's title race is shaping up to be the best title race in recent seasons mainly due to the improved tactical quality of teams like Swansea, Southampton, Cardiff, Newcastle and Everton. Many lower placed sides in the division are now willing to take greater risks in games by having their full backs push high up and pressed the top sides unlike before, and this newly found confidence in their own abilities have been richly rewarded.
Whichever of Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool win it this season, they would have done so DESERVEDLY, I HOPE for our sake that it's Arsenal who come up trumps in May 2014.
"And that i still have a land line."
Why are you presuming I'm referring to you, is your name Royston Fisher?
Sweet's email went down with a virus from a 'fisherroy' email address.

This is bad news for us, couldnt worse timing infact. Chelsea will be like a wounded animal in our game and that makes them a dangerous prospect. This was an ill timed post not very well thought out.
Gets the thumbs DOWN from me im afraid to say.
